Cooling Gauges and Cooling Sections 

Cooling gauges and cooling sections play an important role in the injection molding process. Their purpose is to control the cooling of the molten plastic after injection molding, thereby reducing internal stresses and avoiding warping or collapse of the products. In this way, they help to ensure process stability in the injection molding process and ensure that the plastic parts produced achieve the desired dimensions, strength and surface qualities. 

Cool Innovations for Hot Processes 

We are particularly well versed in optimizing the production of storage, transport and large waste containers using controlled cooling and active shaping during the cooling phase. For this purpose, we develop movable cooling sections with component-specific holders and an expansion mechanism that can be adjusted to the container sizes to prevent container distortion.

 

Using input units and an interface to the injection molding machine, spreading path settings can be automatically adjusted when material or color changes and set-up times can be kept to a minimum. Our cooling and dressing stations, which we have manufactured for direct customers or as subcontractors for SGM manufacturers, can now be found on several continents.
